“We are the ideal solution for small
businesses that need computer support and don’t have an in-house IT
person. Our business is built around making house calls,” says Ed Kieler,
co-founder and CEO of PC Posse, a new mobile computer repair company that
recently joined the Airpark business community.Whether you contend with viruses,
pop-ups or spam, want to set up a whole network, or just want to transfer
data from an old computer to a new one, the professional team of the PC Posse,
a Western-themed computer problem solutions company, will literally ride to
the rescue within minutes of your call
Kieler says, “The high level of technical knowledge our technicians
possess is probably our biggest asset. We hire only the best. Equally important
to us is the service we provide, which is available 24 hours a day, seven
days a week, in your place of business or home. Whether you need to have your
computer repaired and running on weekends, holidays or in the middle of the
night, you can count on us.”
Among the services offered are virus removal and installation of software to protect your files in the future, installation of hardware/software to alleviate your spy ware, pop-ups and spam problems, hardware upgrades to add more memory, transferring your data from outdated media to new media, setting up your new computer and/or connecting your digital camera, scanner, printer, etc., protecting your computer with firewalls and hardware devices, maintaining your computer or system, building networks from the ground up, and many more.
The PC Posse is ready to tackle
your PC problems on-site
“We also offer software instruction and training. We are willing to inform and educate you or your employees on any level, whether one-on-one or in group sessions,” says Kieler.
In addition, PC Posse offers Web site design, development and maintenance, as well as phone support services. “Most of the time we can analyze the problem over the phone and know whether or not we need to come or what parts we need to bring to fix it. If it is something our clients can fix themselves, we make recommendations, all of which saves time and money,” says Kieler.
Regular fees are $125 per hour. However, you have the option
of bundling blocks of time to take advantage of discounts that will reduce
the hourly fee to $80 for a 100-hour bundle. Smaller bundles of 10 to 50 hours
are also available with discounted rates.
“Most businesses start with an hourly fee and soon
realize that it makes more sense to buy block time,” says
Kieler. “The bottom line is, we are not the cheapest when you compare
us to low-end repair services … I’d say we are somewhere in the
middle. We have acquired a reputation for fast and efficient service, and
the ability to fix just about any problem you have with your computers because
we hire only technicians with the highest level of skills.”
The company is presently in the process of raising funds to set up franchises, and welcomes potential investors who want to participate in what Kieler calls one of the fastest growing business opportunities.
“We are being inundated with inquiries from across the country as to when we’ll franchise,” says Kieler. “One thing is certain, as long as there are computers, there’ll always be a need for our services. And right now, the computer industry is still in its infancy, as one of the fastest growing and largest industries in the world.”
